Mancat Monday

You know you are a true mancat when you have your own beer....

For the record, I am not allowed to have any. Only the Mommy can. I don't think that is fair.

My new friend Lloyd

Good day!

I have made a new friend and his name is Lloyd.

Here are a few things about Lloyd:

- He lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
- His human Mommy is BFFs with my human Mommy
- He is originally from Lloydminster, Alberta and that is where his name came from
- He was homeless! I'm sure glad he has a home now.
- He likes to give the bitey, especially to the feet.
- His favorite spot is in the fridge. I think that is a bit weird, but he is unique that way.
- He has a pink nose that I like
- He likes to eat all kinds of food, even pumpkin and tea!

I like making new friends!

The First Snowfall

This is what I saw on Saturday morning. Do you see the snow on the ground outside?

In this picture you can see the snowflakes that didn't melt yet. They are neat!

Did you know that kitties can get a new coat in the winter? This is what Marzi's looks like.

As you can see, Marzi is so comfy in his winter coat.

Me, not so much.

Humans will do all kinds of things to keep warm in the winter months.

What do you do to keep warm on those white snowy days?

Wordless Wednesday

Sometimes when Marzi sleeps he sticks his tongue out.

It's been awhile!

Alright friends, you don't have to be afraid to say it... I haven't been very good at blogging lately. How long has it been, a year? I'm not very good at telling time yet. The Mommy said that instead of procrastinating for something major to blog about, that I should at least give everyone an update. I think that she is being a bit bossy, but I suppose that she does have a point. Besides, I better do what she says if I expect to get any noms. So here is what we have been up to:

Mama turned 13 years old in human years, which is something like 68 years old in kitty years. She didn't want a birthday party for some reason. I think maybe because she's starting to feel OLD. For her birthday she got a new, very soft pillow bed. She doesn't share it with anyone. That's Mama for you. Here is a picture of her on her birthday, sitting by her dish as though she is demanding to get treats. It worked.

Her and Marzi seem to be getting along better each day. I think I even saw a headbonk once, although she would never admit it.

How could I forget to mention... Mama got into a fight with a real life monster!

This is what it looked like

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? It's like a Frankenstein cat, don't you think! The Mommy says it is our next door neighbor's cat. He snuck over to our balcony and was face to face with Mama cat. It did not go very well. They were growling and hissing all over the place. The neighbor came and took the Frankencat back home. Hopefully he doesn't show his face around here again.

We learned that Marzi likes Lime Sherbet. One day the Mommy was eating it and he wanted some, so she let him eat it off the spoon. I'm not a fan myself. Anyway, he was licking it and all of a sudden he had a freeze. A brain freeze.

Marzi also likes The Lion King. Here is a picture of him watching it on Sunday.

As for me, I'm doing great! If you biggify the picture below you can see the white hairs that started to grow above my eye. I think that I can pull it off. Do you?

That's it for the updating for now. I hope you all have a great day!
