A late night catastrophe

Sometimes an accident can be a good thing

A Highlight to my Week

In case you haven't read or heard, I had a little accident this week with my ear. It's really no big whoop. It's not bothering me at all now and it's not even itchy anymore. Mommy's been saying that it looks better each day. I will have to take her word for it, because I can't see it for myself.

I also decided it was a good idea to go off the strike this week. I thought that since I already had the Mommy supplying the sympathy noms, that I could maximize the noms. First, I'd have to show her how tough I am being about the whole incident. And secondly, I'd have to be extra lovey. Get close up with the snuggles to remind her of the owwie on my ear. Let me tell you, it really worked. I think we've gone through a whole pack this week.

The highlight of my week... An award from the Colehaus Cats!!!

Isn't that so nice of them? It makes me happy to hear them say that my blog ramblings bring them joy! Thanks a lot for giving us the award! As part of accepting the award, I need to tell you 7 things about myself that you may not know already.

1. It probably looks like I don't have whiskers, but I do. They are just very short, and sometimes curly too.

2. My favorite color of whiskers is WHITE.

3. I have never had a sunburn. Even when I lay in the sun all day I don't get a sunburn.

4. I don't like that my Dad (Marzi) doesn't cover up his... you know... after he uses the litter box. Even I learned how to do that when I JUST learned how to walk!

5. Sometimes when I snuggle my Dad I lick his furs and end up getting a hairball in my throat.

6. I think I have an eating disorder because I never get full.

7. The Mommy asks me every morning if I made coffee for her, but I don't know how to. I'm hoping to learn how to make her coffee one day.

Now to give the award to some of my other furiends.

The Poupounette- A VERY good looking bunch of critters.

George Online Cat- I am always learning and laughing when I read his blog.

Daisy the Curly Cat- Daisy and Harley are very cool! I think I would like to play with them one day.

Hannah and Lucy- One of them just HAPPENS to have my fave color whiskers...

The Island Cats- They always brighten our day with their sweet words.

My Ouchie

Whatever you do, don't click to zoomify the picture below if you are SQUEAMISH like the Mommy is.

I don't remember how it happened, all I know is that it was ITCHY all of a sudden on my ear. So I shook my head to get rid of the itchy feeling and that is when the Mommy saw the blood drops. There were lots of them. It was kind of cool! It didn't hurt very much at all, it was just itchy. I tried to convince the Mommy that I was fine, but she is purranoid when it comes to this kind of thing.

The best part about getting the ouchie was all of the cuddles and the noms!

Sorry Marzi, but you don't have the ouchie so you don't get as many noms as I do.

As you can probably tell, Marzi was not impressed. MOL! And as you can see, I am feeling as good as new! More noms, please!

MIA - black Devon Rex

Henry was last seen at his birthday party on Monday, July 30th around 11 pm. He was at his residence with Marzipan, Mama cat and many others. Things grew out of control.  A witness has reported that they were all under the influence of the NIP and the JERKY.

These pictures were taken at his birthday party

It is likely that he is still recovering from his birthday festivities...

He should be back to his blogging very soon.

What nom noms will my Dad like to eat?

So it's just another 2 more sleeps until my Dad Marzipan comes to live with us. In case you did not know. I heard my Mommy talking about what to feed him when he comes. It got me wondering, what kind of nom noms will he like the best? Maybe we can make him a welcome to our family supper!

Salmon?

Steak?

Caviar?

Cheeseburger? (My Grand Daddy's favorite)

Chicken?

Lasagna?

Is he vegetarian?
